Position Summary:

You will be responsible for the final assembly of aluminium insulated bodies. This will involve fitment of sheeting systems, both hydraulic & electric, fitting of insulation panels & sheets, and the mounting of the bodies onto their respective chassis.

Your main duties include:

• Using aluminium fabricate & fit sheet materials to panel our bodies
• Fit pre supplied hydraulic & electrically actuated sheeting systems
• Mount completed bodies to chassis using overhead cranes
• Use hand & power tools
• Follow drawings & technical specifications
• Complete production paperwork
• Maintain a safe working environment

You are expected to have the knowledge, skills and abilities to:

• Some fabrication skills (coachbuilder experience preferred)
• Proficient in the use of hand & power tools
• Co-operation with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of commercial tipper vehicle manufacturing process (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail

Physical demands:

Your shift will require you to be on your feet most of the day, must be able to operate hand and power tools effectively. Some working from a platform will be required. Noisy environment (all PPE will be supplied)

Your working environment will be:

• Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toe shoes) in designated areas.

• Day Shift
• Monday – Thursday
• 40 Hours
• Overtime Available
