Job Description
Paint Shop Prepper | Croydon
Salary
From £14.50 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 5.30pm
+Overtime (paid at 1.5 rate)
+ Bonus (up to £200 per week)
Duties include:
Preparation and masking of steelworks products ready to be painted or galvanised.
Remove any excess weld spatter with scrapers.
Ensuring the smooth and consistent flow of work through the shot blast bay.
To be fully aware of good work practices and industry standards relating to industrial shot blasting.
To liaise and communicate effectively with all colleagues.
Lifting and manual handling of steelworks and assisting in general labouring duties around the facility as required
Specifics:
Must be prepared to shotblast commercial vehicle bodies
Training programme will be provided to allow to train up to paint spraying
Previous experience of working in a paint shop desired
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
