Position Summary

You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle fitting duties in line with established production targets and quality standards. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit out commercial vehicles of various types.
• Install subframes, tipping gear, loader cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Use a range of tools and equipment, including hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, MIG welders, and oxy-acetylene torches.
• Read and interpret commercial vehicle drawings and carry out accurate measurements.
• Ensure all work complies with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Carry out additional duties as required to support operational needs.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• You are expected to demonstrate the following:
• Sound knowledge of commercial vehicles, ideally including tipper trucks.
• Proven ability to fit subframes, tipping gear, loader cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Competence in MIG welding.
